For over 25 years now, ever since our Yaya —the Catalan word for granny— started cooking her famous paellas, this piece of paradise in the middle of the Ses Salines natural reserve, with marvellous views over the island of Formentera, Es Cavallet beach and the Mediterranean Sea, has attracted people from all over the world. But especially the locals.
With always high-quality, fresh and local food grown on the island, the menu aims to please. Serving authentic Spanish and Mediterranean-influenced cuisine including seafood, prime cuts of meat and a delicious selection for vegetarians and vegans. For the more modern palates, dishes like the Californian sushi or the Wagyu hamburger do the trick. Specialities are paella, Gallo San Pedro served with Ibicenco-style potatoes and oven baked Seabass in a crust of coarse sea-salt straight from the salt-flats; all made with love from original family recipes. There is also a delicious vegan paella!
